This Kitchen Remodel project aimed to breathe new life into a dated kitchen by enhancing functionality and style. The renovation involved transforming key elements to create a cohesive, modern space that serves both everyday needs and special gatherings.

1. Open Butler’s Pantry:

   • The former wire-shelved pantry was converted into an elegant open butler’s pantry, complete with butcher block countertops for added workspace. The space now features a beverage fridge and open shelving, including a vintage hutch repurposed as a custom cabinet, blending practicality with a touch of charm.

2. Decorative Tile Ceiling:

   • A distinctive decorative tile ceiling was installed, adding visual interest and a touch of sophistication to the pantry area.

3. Enhanced Island:

   • The island was relocated and enlarged to accommodate a convection oven/microwave and provide additional storage. It now extends to butt up against the kitchen table and chairs, creating a seamless and functional layout.

4. Custom Hood and Cabinetry:

   • A custom hood was designed and built to complement the kitchen’s aesthetic, while upper cabinets were added atop existing ones to maximize storage. All cabinets were painted off-white, creating a fresh and cohesive look throughout the space.

5. Concrete Countertops:

   • Poured-in-place concrete countertops were installed, providing a sleek, durable surface that enhances the kitchen’s modern appeal.

6. Corner Farmhouse Sink:

   • A corner farmhouse sink was added, combining classic charm with functionality, and creating a focal point that complements the overall design.
